Climate Change Capital’s corporate finance and M&A advisory team was recognised for their involvement in Infinis Wind Holdings Limited: a refinancing deal which won ‘European Onshore Wind Deal of the Year 2013’ at the Project Finance Magazine awards held in London last night.
CCC’s Advisory team was the financial model builder on the refinancing of 16 UK onshore wind farms with a total generation capacity of 274MW owned by the renewable energy developer, Infinis. The sell-down created a new single debt facility for Infinis, which at the time was wholly owned by private equity firm Terra Firma. The deal reduced complexity and cost for Terra Firma in the run up to Initial Public Offering of Infinis in November last year.
Ian Temperton, CCC’s head of advisory, said “We would like to congratulate Infinis on winning the award”.
